USI ordered one a in a mixed order and it was divine! Great marveling of inter muscular fat. I just ordered 5 more to do a big batch cook. It was NOT the same product. The marbling was not as interspersed and the fat was more in chunks. While it was good and tender after 72 hours in the soups vide, they are not as luscious as the first roast. I’m no meat expert, but I think one end of the chuck is better than the other. I think mine all came from the other end. Would have raved about a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ rating had it been like my first roast 😏
USI stared buying meat from First Light as gifts for my dad. He’s picky about his meat, and he likes this place. Grass-fed and finished is a big plus. Customer service has been good too.
USI have come to really appreciate grass feed cows. I can definitely can tell the differences between the grain feed versus the grass feed cows. Delicious!
USThe chuck roast is tasty. I prepared in the crock pot and was very pleased with the result. I especially like that First Light Farms sources grass fed and yet the meat is tender and tasty, good fat content.
